Sweep is a group ride app being built by its founders in Texas, USA. The company, Sweep Ride LLC, is being formed. This page explains what we collect when you join the Sweep waitlist and what we do with it. Questions: hello@sweepriding.com.
What we collect
- Your email address
- Whether you're a rider, a group or club, or a business
- Your country and ZIP or postal code
- Your group, club or business name, if you give it
We don't collect your location, payment details or anything else through this website.
Why we collect it
- To invite you when Sweep launches near you
- To send occasional updates about Sweep, such as founding offers for groups and businesses
- To understand where riders are, so we know where to launch first
We collect it because you chose to join the waitlist. You can change your mind at any time.
Who can see it
Only the Sweep founders. We never sell or rent your information. It's stored with the services we use to run the website and email: Netlify (website hosting) and Google Workspace (email and spreadsheets). They store it for us and don't use it for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Until Sweep launches in your area plus 12 months, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from any email at any time.
- See, correct or delete the information we have about you.
- If you're in Europe or the UK, you also have rights under data protection law, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
To do any of these, email hello@sweepriding.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
The Sweep waitlist is for people 16 and older.
Changes
When the Sweep app launches, it will have its own full privacy policy covering the app. If we change this page, we'll update the date at the top.
